Wedding Coordinating & Consulting
Wedding Coordinating & Consulting
What Can a Wedding Coordinator Do For You?
Here are a few of the duties you can expect:
Help you to create the type of wedding you want. With that knowledge you'll be able to pick your venue, vendors, color scheme, theme, music, etc.
Help you create a budget sheet and keep track of where your money is going and how much is still owed.
Help keep you on your budget and not blow it!! Suggest vendors that fit your budget and ideas.
Make a wedding planning schedule so that you know what you've done and what still needs to be done.
Take care of any emergencies that arise. Create a wedding day schedule.
How do you charge for your services?
We have several options for the client to choose from when charging. For Coordinating we have flat rate packages available or we can customize a package just for you with a flat rate.
For Consulting only services, we charge hourly, the client can pick the amount of hours they want up front, so there are no hidden fees!
For Candy Buffets we have package rates that are determined by the number of guests, or you can hire an assistant to help with your own buffet at an hourly rate.
Do you receive commissions or referral fees from vendors?
NO! Ethics dictate that the consultant is paid only by the client, thereby devoting loyalty to the client
What is your procedure on the day of the wedding/event?
I arrive as early as five hours before the wedding/event depending on the services contracted. I then stay until my services are no longer required or the contracted amount of time is up. If it is a full service, complete planning then I am there until the Bride and Groom leave for their Honeymoon. If it is a partial service then I leave after my part is done. If it is a Special Event then I am there until my services are no longer needed.
What is your record keeping system?
I have a file for each client that houses contracts, invoices, planning details, and/or whatever information is contracted. I use a program to help me keep everything organized.
What other services can you offer?
We offer wedding and event coordinating and consulting services from partial to full. We also offer Candy Buffets and Proposal services. We also have a baker local that provides cakes for all events.
What is the difference between a Coordinator and a Consultant?
A Coordinator will help you plan any or all of your event and be there the day of the event to help with anything they are contracted for. They will be able to make sure everything goes smoothly and handle any emergencies that may arise.
A Consultant will help you plan any or all of your event, but will not be there the day of the event to make sure everything goes smoothly and will not be able to handle emergencies that may arise on the day of the event.
What will you wear to my wedding? Uniform, etc.
We dress accordingly for each event. If it is formal, we will be formal, if it is casual beach, we will be casual beach. We do not wear uniforms or name tags. Our job is to blend in and make sure things go smoothly. We do not want to stick out.
Will You be Drinking at my event?
NO, NO, NO! I do not know anyone who is allowed to drink at work, except maybe a bartender. It is not professional and we cannot fully perform our duties if we are under the influence of alcohol.
How many events will you have on my day?
Yours! Thats it, just yours. We DO NOT double book for any event no matter how big or small. We only have one person doing the bookings, so there should never be an issue with us being there for you all day long!
How many assistants will you have available for my day?
That depends on the size of the event, the number of guests, and the package and/or services hired for. For all coordinating jobs there will always be at least 2 assistants available throughout the event on the Day of. We will make an educated decision about whether more help is needed and discuss it with you prior to the day of. If a bigger team is needed, we will provide the extra man/womanpower to get the job done effectively and efficiently.

Candy Buffets
How do you charge for Candy Buffets?
We charge according to the number of guests, which allows us to know how many containers and varieties of candy will be needed.
Do you have containers or do I need to get my own?
That is totally up to you! Yes we have containers that are available, but if you choose, you are more than welcome to utilize your own!
We can. We have two different prices when choosing a buffet. We can charge for just the containers and our assistance and you can buy your own candy, or we can include the price of the candy with your contract and order it for you! Your choice!
I have already purchased everything I need, do you have assistants I can hire to just man the buffet?
Yes! We have assistants that can be hired to just run the buffet with your materials and candy for an hourly rate!
Most say it is a good idea to have between a 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound of candy per guest.
100 guests - 25-50 pounds of candy.
